Lisa Mortenson, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Lisa has served as Community Fuels’ CEO since the company was organized in early 2005. During this time, Community Fuels has developed a proprietary process technology, has permitted and built one of the largest biodiesel plants in the Western U.S., and has secured grant funding from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Energy and the State of California. Lisa has a diverse business background with a proven track record managing complex initiatives, driving profit and building and leading multi-disciplinary teams at Fortune 1000 companies. She serves on the board of directors for multiple businesses engaged in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Mortenson also serves as a California Steering Committee Member for the Apollo Alliance, a broad-based constituency in support of a sustainable and clean energy economy, and on the Business Advisory Board for the Eberhardt School of Business at The University of the Pacific. |

Our Team
Community Fuels has built a diverse team with the expertise necessary to develop and commercialize new energy technologies. Our team (including experienced chemists, engineers, plant managers, and business and finance managers) has been recognized for our attention to quality and for our ability to deliver innovative and commercially viable solutions that contribute to the advancement of renewable energy. Community Fuels representatives are frequently featured as speakers at meetings reaching key stakeholders, including state and federal policy makers, fleet managers, and agricultural and environmental groups.

Brad Baker, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board
Brad is one of the original visionaries behind Community Fuels. He is President and CEO of Codding Investments (www.codding.com), a real estate development, property management and commercial construction company. He serves on the board of directors for multiple businesses engaged in the clean technology field. Sonoma Mountain Village (www.sonomamountainvillage.com) is being developed by Codding as one of the most sustainable communities in the world. It is the first development in North America to be endorsed and accepted by the One Planet Communities program. Jeff Allen, Co-Founder and Director
Jeff is one of the original visionaries behind Community Fuels. He is the owner of Allen LandDesign (www.allen-landscaping.com) and Olivet Groves, businesses that have been powered by biodiesel for over 8 years. With over 20 years experience as a business owner and consultant, Jeff has developed sustainable practices to build healthy soils, cleanse and conserve water and sustain natural resources. |

Jethren Phillips, Director
Jethren is a proven entrepreneur with extensive experience in vegetable oils markets, manufacturing, marketing, and international trade. He founded Spectrum Organic Products (www.spectrumorganics.com), an industry recognized pioneering company, and served as Spectrum’s Chairman of the Board until the company was acquired by Hain Celestial. Jethren has founded multiple companies related to organic commodities and natural products. |

Phillip Moore, Director
Phillip has over 30 years experience in multiple aspects of the food industry, from General Manager of major divisions of Fortune 500 companies to leading successful acquisitions teams. He has held various financial positions within RJR/Del Monte, McCormick & Co. and Perimeter Sales and Merchandising. Phillip joined Monterey Bay Corporate Development as managing partner and has since established the company as the leading mergers and acquisitions group in the natural and organic food industry. |

Daniel Lanahan, Director
Dan is the Chairman of Lanahan & Reilley LLP (www.lanahan.com). He has a diverse transactional practice emphasizing on corporate law, particularly with start ups and finance for foreign and domestic businesses. Dan serves on numerous boards of businesses and non-profit organizations and is the founding sponsor of the North Bay Angels Investment Group. His extensive contributions and community service have been recognized by many Northern California organizations. |

Michael Redemer
Michael has over 26 years experience in the energy industry including management positions with Beacon Oil Company, Texaco, and Chevron Corporation. He was responsible for product commercialization and business development at ORYXE Energy International, a fuel additive company. As founder and CEO of Hydrogen Solutions international he successfully moved a new energy technology from concept to prototype. He also served as manager of Air Quality Planning for the California Air Resources Board. Michael’s experience in the energy industry includes environmental compliance for refining operations, P&L responsibility for transportation operations, and planning and oversight of technology development and commercialization. He also served as the Chairman of the American Petroleum Institute Fuels Committee and the Western States Petroleum Association Fuels Committee. |

Robert is a trusted business advisor for Community Fuels.
