Community Fuels to be Featured in The Biofuels Journal
August 15, 2008
Community Fuels will be highlighted in The Biofuels Journal, the predominant industry magazine covering the ethanol and biodiesel industries in a three page article entitled, “Sustainable Feedstocks."
Encinitas, California, August 15, 2008— Community Fuels is privileged to have been selected as a company highlighted in the next issue of The Biofuels Journal in a three page article entitled, “Sustainable Feedstocks.” The Biofuels Journal is a predominant industry magazine covering the ethanol and biodiesel industries. In each issue the magazine highlights industry leaders as part of their “Facility Focus” feature articles.
Community Fuels’ focus on sustainability, flexibility and quality are at the crux of the article. “The industry is so dynamic that from year-to-year to be cost-effective, to be responsible, and have a sustainable operation, it is important to identify new sustainable feedstocks,” says Lisa Mortenson, CEO of Community Fuels.
The editor indicated that he chose Community Fuels, in part, because he sees Community Fuels as an example of the “future of biodiesel”. Community Fuels represents a new model for biodiesel production that he thought would be of interest to their readers. The entire article is available on the Community Fuels website under “In the Media.”
